In the Spring of 1962, my family left Cairo for the first time in 400 years. In Paris, my dad and I went to the Louvre museum two days a week, for 6 months. In Philadelphia I read and played with history, philosophy, music and social causes. After 5 years, I started living in Connecticut, studying Dante in the original, ancient philosophy, marxism and existentialism, tragedy and french literature- within graduate comparative literature
Was the title of a poem I wrote my Sophomore year. After college, finance by chance... eventually, international tax planning. Painting, photography, sculpture, and curating my life.
All the while, I lived with my wife, Ellen, and our three daughters, Genevieve, Stephanie and Alexandra. In addition, very good friends Myron, Tasha, Avie, Assaad, Reika, Paola, Jackie, Rachel, Michelle and Simcha.
